Should I Flip or Rotate My Natural Latex Mattress?

Savvy Rest Serenity Natural Latex MattressNormally there is no need to flip or rotate your Savvy Rest or Sleeptek natural latex mattress. That’s because the natural latex foam layers are made from rubber. Like a rubber ball, they bounce back into their original shape right after being compressed.

There is no harm in flipping or rotating the layers in your natural latex mattress if you feel it will be subjected to unusual pressure or wear. Most of our customers don't find it necessary to flip their mattress. However, if you decide to do so, be sure to have a partner help you move the layers as each one is weighty.  Remember that if you change the configuration of the latex layers you will change the way the mattress feels.

A natural latex mattress performs best when kept covered, dry and away from direct sunlight. While natural latex is a substantial material, frequent handling of the layers may cause them to yellow, tear or shred along the edges, which overtime can comprise the comfort of your mattress.
