The Danforth Platform Bed

The Danforth has a low profile mission style headboard, perfect for rooms of all sizes. Simplicity in design makes this bed at home in any décor. The Bedworks of Maine Freeport bed with headboard is made of solid North American ash, a superior hardwood with a beautiful grain.

It is hand-sanded and then finished with a five-step finishing process.

The Danforth features metal-on-metal corner connection frame assembly for added strength and durability and solid hardwood slats for excellent mattress support (Bedworks doesn't use pine because it's too soft).

The Bedworks of Maine finishes contain no formaldehyde.  The lacquer finish contains no high solids and no VOC off gassing after three days of air drying.
