Baa Baa Wool Hand-tufted Wool-filled Comforter

Our wool-filled comforter is covered with a delightful 230-thread count certified organic cotton sateen - certified by Control Union (formerly known as SKAL). Hand-tufted with organic cotton yarn by a skilled and kind Amish woman.

The wool is from sustainably-raised sheep on small farms in Wisconsin. First, the wool fleece is hand-washed using a citrus chemical-free wash/scourer. It is then sent off to the mill where it is made into wool bats without the use of oils on the rollers or any anti-static sprays/chemicals.

Care Instructions: Easy care! Use sun and air to freshen bedding. If necessary, spot clean with a solution of 1:3 parts distilled white vinegar to water. Spray stain with solution and allow to dry. May require repeat applications until stain or odor disappears.
